Group Trips in Nagaland
India · 1 experience
Every December, all seventeen Naga tribes gather on one festival ground at Kisama. Most travellers watch it from the crowd. You will live the week around it. Seven days through the Angami hills: a full immersion day at Hornbill, heritage walks through Khonoma and Dzuleke with local guides, the whole Closing Ceremony with every tribe in full regalia, and then two slow days in Tuophema, a living village of twelve clan cottages most travellers never reach. Home-cooked dinners, local rice brews, cold mountain nights, and a small tribe of twelve to fourteen who picked culture over comfort.
