I joined BHX Shillong at my lowest point. I had just quit my job, had 10+ years of experience, and was drowning in imposter syndrome. Walking in, I was honestly terrified. From the first moment, the team made me feel like I belonged. The century-old property had incredible energy, and the people I met were genuinely supportive. When I had an anxiety attack mid-week, the compassion from the group floored me. It felt like the room had been curated for exactly what I needed. Seven days of real conversations, shared stories, and late-night laughter that meant something. I left with energy I had forgotten I had, friendships that stuck, and belief in myself again. BHX Shillong was the turning point.

When I first came to BHX, I was in the early days of building an affordable therapy platform. What I found were fresh perspectives, sharper strategies, collaborations that made the road less lonely, and friendships I still lean on today. Three years later, coming back for the next stage felt like the same magic, only deeper. The conversations stretched further, the collaborations grew stronger, and the support system kept expanding. My work scaled and evolved alongside the people I met here. That is what makes BHX special: the connections do not just meet you where you are, they grow with you.

BHX Goa · September 2025

BHX came at a time when I had just left my job, felt stuck after covid, and needed people and connection. Walking into that villa felt like breathing again. Every day had something new to look forward to, and the long nights of conversation made me feel alive in a way I had missed. One conversation there changed the work I do now and the career path I am on. I even worked with three others from BHX, which made it feel like the start of something real. Leaving was hard, but I carried the people, the energy, and the reminder that real connections can change your life.

I have never seen someone do their job with so much passion. The facilitator's energy and care were the biggest factor.

The facilitator was amazing and made the experience feel special. We would not have experienced what we did without that support. 100/100.

The facilitator was excellent with the planning and arrangements. Overall, I had a good time because of the hospitality.

How this page works

Trust comes from showing the seams

Traveller records, not marketing personas

Reviews come from ExCo's traveller review records and retain the reviewer name, edition, date, rating, and words supplied with that record.

Real photos or honest initials

An uploaded traveller photo is shown when present. Stock profile images are removed and replaced with initials - not a generated face.

Project scores stay project scores

BHX and Bucketlist ratings describe their full review pools. They are not presented as dozens of reviews for a departure that has not happened yet.

Direct answers to the trust questions

Is The Experience Co legitimate?

Yes. The Experience Co. (ExCo) is an India-based curated group-travel brand whose first edition ran in 2014. The ExCo, Bucketlist and BHX names and intellectual property are owned by Oxytocin Designs LLP. Current ExCo booking terms name the affiliated Experience Collective Private Limited as the contracting company. It is not Experience Co Limited (ASX: EXP), the Australian adventure-tourism company. The Experience Co. (ExCo) is not the unrelated travel business referred to online as CoTravel, Cotravelin or "Co Travel". Reviews and forum posts about those names do not describe ExCo, Bucketlist or BHX. ExCo is a community-first travel brand creating invite-led small-group journeys through BHX, Bucketlist, and other ExCo projects. ExCo publicly provides trip itineraries, prices, booking terms, safety procedures, and customer-support contacts.

Is Bucketlist by ExCo legitimate?

Yes. Bucketlist by ExCo is an India-based curated small-group travel brand published at bucketlist.to. The ExCo, Bucketlist and BHX names and intellectual property are owned by Oxytocin Designs LLP. Current ExCo booking terms name the affiliated Experience Collective Private Limited as the contracting company. Bucketlist is one of The Experience Co.'s two current consumer travel brands, alongside BHX (Beachhouse Project). Reviews for the unrelated BucketList Experiences business listed on Tripadvisor in Mumbai and the unrelated Bucketlist Rewards employee-recognition software do not belong to Bucketlist by ExCo. Its live project-level traveller ratings and review records are shown separately on this page when available.

Is BHX (Beachhouse Project) legitimate?

Yes. BHX, short for Beachhouse Project, is an India-based application-led travel and creative-residency brand published at bhxproject.com. The ExCo, Bucketlist and BHX names and intellectual property are owned by Oxytocin Designs LLP. Current ExCo booking terms name the affiliated Experience Collective Private Limited as the contracting company. BHX is one of The Experience Co.'s two current consumer travel brands, alongside Bucketlist by ExCo. Legitimacy can be checked through its live edition pages, application flow, current terms, named support routes, historical press coverage and the separately scoped BHX traveller-review pool on this page.

What do Beachhouse Project attendees say?

The live BHX pool above currently contains 32 project-level traveller reviews with an average rating of 4.9 out of 5. Visible records retain the traveller name, rating, date, edition and submitted words. These are first-party traveller records maintained by ExCo, not an independent review-platform consensus. BHX website testimonials and Instagram posts are owned marketing sources, while press articles are editorial sources; neither should be relabelled as anonymous Reddit sentiment or broad independent consensus.

How are ExCo's reviews?

The live ratings above are calculated separately for BHX and Bucketlist from their real project-level review pools. Each visible review keeps the traveller's own words, rating, date, edition name, and uploaded photo when one exists.

Is ExCo worth the price?

There is no honest brand-wide answer. Compare the exact edition fee, inclusions, exclusions, cancellation terms and verified traveller records with the cost and work of the alternatives you would actually choose. ExCo does not claim to be the cheapest option, and no universal stay, transport, meal, facilitation or support bundle applies to every edition.

Is Bucketlist by ExCo worth considering?

Consider the exact Bucketlist edition if its destination, audience, pace, stated inclusions and curated-group format fit what you want. Skip it if your priority is the lowest possible price, a fully self-directed route or a different audience. Make the decision from the live edition, current terms and the Bucketlist review pool on this page - not reviews for BucketList Experiences on Tripadvisor, Bucketlist Rewards, or one sparse discussion thread.

Is ExCo good for solo travellers?

Yes. Many people join ExCo without a friend or partner. Applications help shape a compatible small group, while facilitators, shared experiences, and free time create enough structure to meet people without making the trip feel like a conventional group tour.

What happens if I cancel an ExCo trip?

ExCo publishes a tiered cancellation policy with wallet-credit and eligible bank-refund options. The outcome depends on the edition category and how far the cancellation is from departure. Earlier cancellations receive more protection, while late cancellations may receive less or none, so the exact deadline should be checked before payment.

How does ExCo keep trips safe?

ExCo says it reviews applicants for group fit, vets stays, provides on-ground coordination, shares destination-specific safety guidance, and maintains emergency-support procedures. Travellers can also report safety concerns directly to the care team before, during, or after an edition.
