As part of the Art Project, 30+ artists collaborated to paint an art mural in collaboration with a low-income community of moms & school-going children. The intent was to remind them that education is fun and going to school is important. The mural was painted on a huge wall by the sea which also happened to be the passage for the kids to go to school.

Every RTX Project invites local creators from the country it is visiting. Apart from the eclectic blend, it also creates unique creative connections and brings relevance to the projects travelers create. In the past, RTX has collaborated with over 80+ local creators. Locals are also the best maps.

Gotipuo is a dance form with origins dating back to 5 B.C. A pre-cursor to Odishi Dance which is one of India’s oldest dance forms, Gotipuo originated somewhere around 5 B.C. The RTX Tribe collaborated with a 50 year old dance school in Konark to paint their gorgeous stage, create a website that brings them an audience & sponsors and documented their art, culture & music.

On special invitation by Hon. Achyuta Samanta, MP & Founder of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences, RTX Tribe collaborated to create a coffee table book for the university. Ranging from Archery to Kickboxing to Culture, the coffee table book was shot, designed & published in a record time of 24hours.

RTX as a concept has always resonated with exploring places that are yet to be discovered. Our roadmap in Odisha was as diverse as our Tribe and our efforts were recognized by Odisha Tourism. On the road, we created stories to raise awareness about the eco-hotspots of the state which culminated as an exhibition on the last day of the roadtrip attended by key prominent members from the government.

Shot and produced within the first 3 days of arriving in Colombo as part of the Roadtrip Experience Project, this photography project is a fleeting contribution by 4 photographerstowards reviving the martial art form in today's day and age.

The four photographers from India - Riddhi Parekh, Dhruv Sethi, Farhan Hussain and Suraj Katra collaboratively charted out the plans with the help of the Angampora practitioners and the creative RTX crew.

Poornima Sukumar was inspired by the Fishermen in Dawki, Meghalaya. The main profession of the village is fishing and men of the house spend their entire day sitting in canoes to catch fish. She collaborated with Sadhna, Abhishek, Madhu & Jerry to realize this beautiful and simple idea with a local fisherman.

The Beachhouse Revival Project brought 30 creators from around the world to create a WIP #travel residency in Tangalle, Sri Lanka. The intent of the project was to create a sustainable revenue stream for an old couple who lost their restaurant (one of the famous beachside club established in 1984) and resultantly there livelihood during the Tsunami of 2004.

While flying from Mumbai to Colombo, Gowri Jayakumar (Muscian) was inspired by the clouds outside her window. She went on to create a dedication to the city of Colombo by producing a Soundtrack in 3 days. She collaborated with Ronit Sarkar - a sound engineer, Sankha Bee - a Sinhalese lyricist, Dylan - an Australian rapper with Sri Lankan Roots, Julius Mitchell - A Mad Beatboxer & Mike - a freestyle poet from New York, now living in Colombo.
