BHX:Mountains | Exploring the unseen, unshown and untold Kashmir

BHX Mountains in Kashmir marked the end of the 3rd leg of the monsoon season of the Beachhouse Project and it was one astounding and hard-hitting realisation of the creative communities in India and the unheard stories of Kashmir.

Here’s a sneak preview of what happened on the serene foothills of the Himalayas.

The story of Kashmir is commonly camouflaged by the media’s notion of diluting its true essence. The essence of one people, one nation and one love.
And when extremely talented people come together in a space which is oozing with beauty, inspiration and love- a melting pot of collaborations and helpfulness is set in motion.

They have their hearts on their oars, the forgotten Kashmir lies under the Dal. - Lines by Varun Pande, an actor, a poet and everything more.

The local talent and core of the tribe warmed the hearts of our residents which activated the best inner versions of themselves.

14 creatives from across the country set foot en route to a land which was engulfed in media controversies which were rubbished once they became a part of this beautiful land known as Jannat-e-Kashmir.

From Concert creators to filmmakers, from space designers to poets, from bakers to digital entrepreneurs, from social celebrity managers to fashion designers- this tribe was diverse and one at the same time.

What happens at Beachhouse is that we break the code of nature. We are amazing people who weren’t supposed to meet, weren’t supposed to collaborate, weren’t supposed to fall in love and weren’t supposed to feel like we were one family.
We’ve taken it onto ourselves to challenge and change our destinies together.

The monsoon edition of Beachhouse Project had been humbling for us at every step of the journey and Kashmir added to the sweetness of life with stories that are going to be undeniably written and said in the times to come.

What the media portrays this unbelievable piece of land to be is a politically played game and it's time the creative community extends a hand to help ourselves help Kashmir. It's where you will find your fire. Allow the mountains to speak with you.
